I do not know what these flowers are called in English for that matter in any other language . The are "aboli" common flowers in Konkan, Mharashtra.
(Scientific Name : Crossandra infundibuliformis. Family : Acanthaceae)
Y'day was bit hot and avoided going out anywhere and ended painting this small floral in backyard at my native place.

Anudeepa - you are right, first background was done wet in wet and then details with wet on dry

The flowers are beautiful, only you could have added some specs of light in background, it looks too grey.
