Jawhar Mountains


Visited Jawhar-lesser known hill station near Mumbai few wks back . When I posted this painting on FB someone said its very different than my regular paintings. So posting it here for your comments.

Have missed your posts Ajay! Nice to see you back. This is different for you - it has a wonderful, almost abstract feel to it. Love the way you lead us right into the heart of the mountains. I think it's terrific.

Very unique use of colors when compared to your other paintings Ajay, I enlarged to see whether you sprinkled some white,but it is your brushstrokes..

It is different but all the same, very attrative piece of art!The painting has an abstract feel that makes it stand out.I like it very much!

the scenic beauty of the hills have been captured beautifully. I saw most of your paintings this time. The paintings of assam, meghalaya and arunachal are fantastic!

I did have a walk trough your blog and I saw that this watercolor kept on capturing my attention. The colors are bright, you make full use of complementary colors here and there is much light in. Very beautyful!!

Beautiful, it is so open and unrestricted. I find myself drawn into this painting, almost as if I am a bird viewing what I see before me. Lucky Bird!
