Wada @ Menvali

Had not done any structure for many days so tried this from photograph.
This is one famous wada at menavali which was residance of nana Fadnvis , diplomat from Peshwa days.
This painting was my attempt to paint some basic washes and going back to basic "KISS - keep it simple stupid" mantra. hope I have kept it simple :)

This is beautiful. KISS has worked. Love the transparency of your washes. My favourite is the variegated wash on the building to the left. Superbly done.

Lovely building.. Such building are a treat to paint..The limited palette (part of KISS strategy I guess) has worked very well.

This looks like a very early morning scene. I wonder how it would be on a hot sunny afternoon with strong lights and shadows.

Simple, but beautiful! The earthy colors bring out the 'bygone era'look..

Your simplicity has totally worked on this. Really lovely warm tones and love those touches of blue.
