Full emeperial sizew watercolor on paper. Had done half size at location, walkway towards Mahatma Gandhi Memorial at National Park Mumbai. This bigger painting done with same reference.
Everytime you post such a painting which is a part of Mumbai it really surprises me. Such green places are very hard to find here in Bangalore except Cubbon park and Lal bagh..
Prabal, these green patches are lungs of Mumbai. National park extends from Borivali till Thane and encompasses an area of 104 square kilometres ( though we have access only to limited area as its reserve land)
Thanks Rupesh. Arti- you are right about limited palette , as thumb rule i try and use only 4 to 5 colors. here its yellow orche, cobalt blue, orange and burnt siena thats 4 colors only
Gosh Ajay but you have such a gift of bringing in atmosphere into your work. It feels so peaceful in this painting and the colours of the trees are great!
