Thibaw Palace is the place where the last Burmese monarch, King Thibaw, was sent to exile. Though this palace is not as ornate as the palace of Rajasthan, its location is very unique, overlooking the Ratnagiri Bay. A beautiful Buddha idol, brought by King Thibaw, is placed at the back of the palace.
Awesome place to visit with a lesson of history. There are a lot of other places to visit in Ratnagiri as well.
