Vasai Fort ruins


This week rain has taken break and gives me opportunity to do plein air painting.

This is so refreshingly beautiful, Ajay. It shows in your painting how happy you are to be back to your home pitch, plein air! (Correct me if i am wrong!) The light rays through the clouds are fabulously captured and so is the beautiful play of shadow and light

Beautiful colours, sensitive treatment of the subject. I wish that I had painted this one! I particularly love the blending of the washes in the foreground.

For my taste the view through the wall could be a little softer, more mysterious, but it is just gorgeous anyway!
